Having always had the support and encouragement of her family, Maribel's transition from being a shy little girl with poor confidence to becoming an honor student who has worked hard to maintain a sparkling 95.69 GPA. Knowing ver little English growing up was hardly a confidence booster, but perservance and determination along with the help from her family, has carried Maribel through her most difficult tasks. Helping others has always been one of Maribel's best attributes, which is why science and medicine are the career paths that she wants to pursue.
